They announced a ship was leaving for the USA in 10 minutes.When they tried to bring the anchore up it was caught on something,if I remember right it was caught on a cable or something.WE DID NOT LEAVE IN 10 MINUTES! The date this happened was in between 1961 and 1964.

Does anybody remember him? My mother thinks he worked somewhere in personnel although prior to that on the Wasp I believe he was on the flight deck. Unsure of rank.
